"'Faces' express how we react to the world. In the indulgence of pizza, the art tries to capture how the senses react to something so intricately joyful"

Every face is a reflection of the soul. It is the playing ground for a myriad emotions. Joy. Gratitude. Love. Affection. Pain. Hope. It shines at its best when it comes within the proximity of food. Despite the travails of the mind, when food is placed before the body, the face breaks away from every negative emotion to leap in happiness. Bursting with a million colours of positivity.

The finely crafted pizza, enhanced with a rich offering of spices, cheeses and a riot of vegetables is a gastronomic delight. Jyothi’s transformation of delight is the Face – found on the cover of this pizza box.

Coming from a home filled with masters of art, Jyothi grew up around the fragrances of paints and oils. Her home in Thalassery was surrounded by the colours of Theyyam, beaches, rivers and abundant nature. For after all this was where the world came, to trade for spices.

A bright child who excelled at school for her art, she found her calling when she enrolled into the Government Arts College at Trivandrum, to pursue a degree in Fine Arts.

Upon graduating, Jyothi moved on to explore new frontiers in the world of graphic design and advertising. Now, she has hung up her boots on the corporate world, to get back to what she loves most, being an artist.

She has honed her appetite for art, by developing a style which is her very own, and mélanges traditional art with modern graphic design.
